What is The Urban Gourmet Co. exactly?

At our core, we are a family-owned (proudly veteran) and operated retailer of the finest fresh extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic.

We carry over twenty flavours of infused extra virgin olive oils (as for the “non-infused” we call those guys “single varietals”). Fresh, high quality olive oil is important for your health as well as the flavour of your food. Once you try premium quality olive oil, you will never look at the "other stuff" the same again!

We also carry over twenty flavours of aged balsamic vinegars. Aged is important here because it provides max viscosity, complexity and sweetness as that’s what separates good balsamic from vinegar - more on that in our upcoming posts.
